It's a friendly, informal challenge where we briefly compare how goals are created using the traditional SMART framework versus the principles of the FQ3C™ Achievement Behavioral Model while leveraging the goals assessment. It's a quick way to see the potential differences in depth and focus between the old outdated model of SMART vs the modern FQ3C™ Achievement Behavioral Model.
The initial invitation to compare goal-setting approaches is only $50 to enter and is intended to be a fun, insightful experience with a nice prize of $500 for the winner. If you're interested in experiencing the full power of FQ3C™, our comprehensive assessment tools are available, with single assessments starting at just $5. The payout offer of $500 is a separate element specific to the challenge.
For those who choose to participate in the SMART Goals Challenge, you'll create a goal – you using your preferred method (often SMART), and using the principles of FQ3C™ embedded into the assessment you'll then compare your goal based on pre-defined criteria (such as behavioral specificity, measurability of underlying factors, and potential for comprehensive tracking). If your goal is judged to be 90% or more comprehensive (Complete/Thorough) based on these criteria and submitting the goal first, we'll happily send you $500 as a bit of fun and recognition of your goal-setting prowess!
FQ3C™ is the modern Achievement Behavioral Model. It's a data-driven framework based on 12 key variables that influence human behavior. Unlike traditional goal-setting methods that primarily focus on the outcome, FQ3C™ delves into the underlying behaviors, providing a more comprehensive, quantifiable, and trackable approach to achieving any objective. This is why it is the best quality substitute for SMART goals and the assessment will showcase that.
While SMART goals focus on being Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, FQ3C™ goes deeper by analyzing the why and how behind goal achievement. It provides a framework for understanding the behavioral elements crucial for success and offers tools for precise, ongoing progress tracking of those behaviors, not just the end result. Many find SMART goals lack the depth for true behavioral change and accurate progress measurement just like FORBES described and the 12 variables address these shortcomings.
That's perfectly fine! The "SMART Goals Challenge" is simply an opportunity for a friendly comparison and a chance to see a different perspective. There's no obligation to change your current methods. You might still find the comparison insightful. At the very least you get to see your capacity to write a thorough goal and see the truth behind your skills.
Only as much as you see fit to create your detailed goal, write it, then submit it. The form itself may only take as little as 5 minutes to fill out for those who already are prepared with a thorough goal. There is no maximum time outside of submission deadlines for the goal.
No problem at all! We're happy to provide a brief overview of the core principles of FQ3C™ as part of the "challenge." You don't need to be an expert to participate. If you feel that you know how to write a thorough goal you get a chance to make some $! FQ3C isn't mandatory, but if you want to learn the variables behind a good goal and the behaviors rrequired to achieve any goal from a quantitative perspective we suggest reading or listening to our book "Doomed To Succeed" found ONLY on this site under the "Products" tab in the MENU options.
Be the first to score 90% and win $500!
